What is this on my chest?

It was there when I woke up this morning, had a bit of a squeeze (very painful!) but no sign of anything in it. Red around it seems to have been getting bigger since this morning.

Any tips with how to deal with it/what it might be?

Insect bite? If so, try antihistamine.

Looks like a bite

Ringworm can be like this. At first you think you have been bitten and then it spreads into a circle-ish shape. If it is ringworm it is quickly treated with Daktacort from the pharmacy. I'm a teacher and have picked this up a couple of times from school. It is pretty contagious but clears up quickly once you get the cream.

I think that’s an insect bite. I get the same reaction if I’ve been bitten.
