Subaceous filament or black head?

How do you know the difference?! I have what looks like a massive black head on my nose, but no matter how much I squeeze and press, it won’t come out. I usually make it worse and create a kind of ‘spot’ by messing with it.

I’ve tried using my fingers, using cotton buds. I’ve also tried those pore strips that dry down. I’ve been using salicylic acid too to try and get rid, but it’s still there!

Any advice? It feels super noticeable.

I think you may be about to get a lot of posts saying “what blackhead?” It’s not the best photo, and I can’t really see what you mean! So probably it’s not actually super noticeable.. better pic?

Most on the nose are sebaceous filaments and the big one is probably an open pore.

You’ll need to take a better photo. Better lighting and in focus on your nose.
