Spot or something else? Pic included

I’ve got this on the back of my head.
I’m sure it started out as a small spot. It feels very wet. Do I squeeze it? Will the doctor do anything? It’s throbbing and it really hurts.

Squeezing is up to you.

I'd go for a hot compress (clean flannel or cotton pad, wet with boiled water, salted and allowed to cool so it won't scald). It should pop of if it's own accord then and you'll need to focus on keeping it clean and infection free. I'd only see a doctor if it appeared infected or especially deep.

Well for once I’m glad I didn’t give it a squeeze.
it’s been really hurting and very weepy so I thought I’d give the nurse a look and she was not happy and booked me in with the doctor.

i was just hoping for some magic cream to stop the bleeding .

Turns out it was a little mole and I’ve been referred on the 2 week wait to check for skin cancer.

I’m sure it will be absolutely fine though and I’m hoping they’ll chop it off.
