Strange spot on cheek

Ds has a strange bump on his cheek, it looks like there's white pus inside but no break in his skin. It looks a bit like a bite but on closer examination you see the white stuff. I would love to squeeze it Grin but would just like to know what it is....

We're moving this thread over to Sporner Corner for the OP, and giving it a bump (and a squeeze) Grin

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 13/12/2021 12:46

I'd be using hot compresses and a rough flannel and a sterilised needle

Gribbie · 13/12/2021 13:15

I know this! It's a milia

Jackieweaverishere · 13/12/2021 16:33

Ooh tell me about milia! Can I use a sterilised needle, I've been dreaming of this moment!!!

Gribbie · 13/12/2021 19:37

Yes, yes I believe you can. Only one condition - you need to take an after photo!

Jackieweaverishere · 23/01/2022 16:51

@Gribbie as requested, I finally managed to get DS to agree to me attacking it. I used some sterilised nail scissors and the top part came out like a dream Smile some of it is deep / absorbed now so I didn't want to fiddle with it. But overall it's better ( and it was glorious to do!)

Is that also a massive blackhead in his ear?

Jackieweaverishere · 23/01/2022 17:01

Knowing DS it was probably wax! It's not there now (photo was taken a couple of weeks ago). I nearly didn't post the photo because of the muck in his ear, should have known there would be eagle eyes on the photo 🤣🤣

My thoughts exactly! Get a Kirby grip on that OP, straight away
Jackieweaverishere · 23/01/2022 17:43

A Kirby grip on blackheads?! Tell me more! Do you just squash with one of the pointy ends?

OP posts:
Handsnotwands · 23/01/2022 20:07

God no. You use the looped end to apply pressure around the blackhead satisfyingly removing it to the cries of joy from all around

Some lucky people or professional sporners have a little looped tool. A Kirby grip works well enough though especially for hard to reach places like an ear

Suipigz · 23/01/2022 22:24

OP where are the photos of the contents of said milia???

Jillybloop393 · 24/01/2022 00:07

I'm fairly new to this site, and have only just found the 'Sporner' bit - this being my first read. Oh my days - you lot are utterly sick .... and oh so funny!! I shall be visiting much more often. But not at meal times, ever!! Lol!

Jackieweaverishere · 24/01/2022 08:25

@Suipigz I'm so sorry, in the excitement it got swiped away and lost. It was surprisingly small. It all happened so quickly...
