My head is trying to grow a second nose...

Pic attached - I know the rules!. It hurts like hell, especially if I lean down (pressure).
Sadly, I don't think there will be any pus explosions as it's deep. I've just collected some strong horse tablets antibiotics for it.
I will, of course, post pics if a head develops (although IME it would be multiple ones should it happen).
I know I may have disappointed you, but some sympathy would be good as I'm feeling very sorry for myself (been off for another illness for six weeks and counting, and have had a burst blood vessel in my eye in the meantime 🤒☹️).

I've been told that if the swelling extends to my whole eye (I've already got a lovely eye bag that side), I need to go to A&E for IV antibiotics....
I'm deliberately taking two doses today even though I got the ABs quite late in the day, in the hope that it won't keep progressing.
(If it keeps getting worse over the next couple of days I may go anyway - I know that my 'defences' are low already.)

Which antibiotics have they given you

@Theunamedcat, coamoxiclav. It's a broad spectrum antibiotic. I've been told that if the swelling extends to all of my eye, or if I can't close my eye, I need to go to A&E.

I've been on that one made me feel awful but worked i advise hydration as it made my kidneys ache randomly and it's because I usually drink very little

Ouch! I had an infection in the same place very, very uncomfortable.
Drink lots and it's really worth getting some yogurt or Yakut to minimise the effects on your tummy.

Well, there have been developments.
This afternoon, I realised that there was a head, so the inevitable happened....
The pressure is now less! Sorry for the rubbish focus on the first picture - I was still in shock! And even more so when I realised more was to come....

Now it's open slap mag sulphate and a plaster on overnight and more will come out

Oh my god I am SO JEALOUS. Also you have gorgeous eyes. Just to make Sporner Corner creepy.

Sad to say, but it's all fizzled out. The antibiotics have done their job, and whilst it's still there, it's on its way out. I did get a couple more squeezes out if it, one later that day and one the morning after.
I can't say I'm sorry as I have other health issues going on, and this on top made me feel really unwell, so I'm glad it's going.

This was my eye two weeks ago. I still don't know why it happened.

OP, sorry about your eye. Internal bruising? How is it now?
