Painful large boil/cyst

It's erm down below on on my bum cheek right underneath. I can barely walk or sit down. Its been like it for 4 days and no head yet but its about 4cm long. Help me😪😪😪

May be a bartholins cyst. Hit flannel, as hot as you can take it. Then mag sulphate. Repeat tomorrow am. If it doesn't pop on its own then time to go to the docs

I had to send a pic to the poor Dr! I have an abscess fml. Been given antibiotics hoping they help as I'm in agony

I'm waiting on my delivery on mag sulphate aswell

Ouchy. The usual protocol is you must provide photos, but given the location we might let you off. Hope it subsides soon

I ended up in a&e and an operation as it was an infected abscess! Scary as I'm 20 weeks pregnant and baby didn't like the anesthesia so I ended up having gas and air with a local. Never had pain like it!

Yowsers. Poor you. On the plus side having the baby will probably feel alot less painful in comparison.

Oh my goodness, you poor thing. Hope it heals up quickly, and doesn’t need lots of packing.

Oh lordy- I feel your pain!

I had to have incision and drainage in an abcess with just local anaesthetic and it was the worst pain I've ever felt!

I'm okay now thank you. I've honestly never felt pain like it!

I had this when pregnant with ds. They had to cut me because it was too far gone with local anaesthetic. It was agony. They just cut me open on the ward there and then. Never ever felt pain like it.

It came back and I had a surgery to rectify it and it's never come back since! That was just over 10 years ago.
