On my first night of camping for a festival, I got bitten by some kind of beastie. By the evening of the second day I had the most amazing blister that needed draining and dressing at a walk in centre. I've been put on antibiotics to treat the infection.

I always react like that to bastarding horseflies, they are spectacular bites.

Nurse was very happy with how it looks. She said it's mostly dry and she wouldn't recommend putting anything on it. I've since noticed that my ankle is swollen so not sure what to make of that right now.

Gonna have a long soak in the tub tonight to see if that helps

Looking much better this morning. Had a long soak in the bath last night and all the skin/discoloured stuff came right away. It's feeling a bit tender but nothing like the last few days

Glad you are on the mend. Still looks nasty. Hope it clears up quickly

Last full day of antibiotics and it looks so much better think I'm out of the woods now
