Karma has finally come for me

After years of shouting needle at all the boils and cysts on here, I’ve finally got more than a little spot. It’s an inch long purpleish swelling right in my thigh crease and excruciatingly painful. Walking is best achieved sideways to avoid irritating it. I will get photos if I can achieve it whiteout showing you all what I had for breakfast

It seems to have visibly went down, but when I probe the skin it feels about an inch and a half is swollen and sore, so bigger than before

Magnesium sulphate? More hot flannels?

The good news is I have a few sterile punch lances left from my antibody test last week when it does gain a head/lose patience

God that looks painful!

I think it’s got a head of sorts, but I can’t reach it easily and DP won’t touch it as he says he’ll be sick

Lots of pus came out, but all bloody and quite smelly. Pictures attached of totally legit not at all loo roll surgical swabs

A few weeks ago I had a really painful one on the labia majora. God it was painful. Used hot compresses and the hand shower head with water as hot as I could bear 4 times daily.

This is an old wives tale but works for boils, abscesses etc. Spit on your finger and wipe it on several times a day. You spit contains a component from your immune system. It will bring it to a head and then assist the healing process.

How’s it doing now OP?

It’s not sore today, but the swelling is still there, about an inch across. I woke up this morning and had to clean up a lovey mess of sudpcreme and pus (not envy)
I’ve been leaking serous fluid all day too

Ring your GP/surgery tomorrow, you need antibiotics.

Poor you, it’s not fair.

Thankfully I don’t think it’s a GP job, got lots more clearish fluid out tonight and lots of small chunks of pus like the one pictured. No pain and slight reduction in size. I’m a bit disappointed I never got a great outpouring of pus
