My seven year old is a sporner!

Dh had a lump on the side of his head. I realised it was an ingrown hair that had now formed a loop so got the tweezers to pull it out. Out it came (pleasantly long!) along with a ton of green gunk. I was just enjoying the ooze when a small head appeared blocking my view! Ds had climbed on a chair in order to be able to see what was happening!

Is it wrong to be a little bit proud?!?

Both of mine are sporners. I'm gutted. As teens there are blackheads galore and I don't get a look in

Not at all wrong, you’ll regret it when he’s in his teens and squeezes all his own spots though

One of mine is a spotter. Earwax videos are a favourite. I am so proud...

I guess every family needs a hobby!

He is now fascinated with the contents of his tummy button......

Ds is 6 and I've told him that when he gets spots he has to let me pick them or at least let me watch him pick them. That's the law in this house.

Don't worry. My son is a sporner too. He's 15 now and de sometimes lets me squeeze his spots if they are in a awkward place or else he's worried about it getting infected (and needs the expert to step in..). The only condition is that he has to have a mirror to watch.

It's also good because unlike my squeamish daughter, he's never shied away from letting me get rid of splinters or anything else and has a high pain threshold if it results in getting rid of the foreign body/spot/verruca/ingrown hair.
