Cut thumb. Really yucky pic beware***

I'm a sporner but this isn't strictly sporn.
Looking for help.
I cut my thumb on glass on Thursday so 3 days ago.
It bled a lot for 12+ hrs.
Anyway I'm now thinking it may need medical attention to heal!
Any ideas.?

I think it’s a bit late now unfortunately. It’ll leave a great scar though!

I dont think there is much that can be done now but it is worth sending that photo to your GP practise tomorrow to see what they say.

From the picture it doesn't look deep, you could try steri strips but after 3 days you might not get the wound edges to close easily.

I'd keep it clean and covered and give it time.

The only way that could be stitched now is if they 'refreshed' the edges - in other words, took more material away.
As PP said, steristrips to avoid it being pulled, and a dressing over the top.
Keep it dry, too.

I think that’s ruined rare steak for me. Looks very similar.
