What is this on my foot?

Is it a verruca or a corn or something else? It's hard and sometimes painful to walk on. Using a pumice in it has yielded no results!

Can guy see a chiropodist?

I think it's a verruca that hard skin has grown over to protect it.

The hard skin will need to be cut off, and then you need to apply treatment gel to get shot of it.

I probably do need to see a chiropodist really but struggling to find time. I have some of that bazuka sub zero for warts and verrucas. Will try to take the top off then apply it and see if it works. Thank you

I think that explains it well. Veruccas tend to be more warty looking.
