I’m not sure gout crystals are any fun. That looked crunchy, there’s too much digging about and the doctor tells the patient he can feel the bone near where he’s gouging. 🤮 You can just tell that area’s going to hurt like hell and be black and blue afterwards. I feel too sorry for patient, who seems a chipper sort & doesn’t know what’s coming when the LA wears off. (I speak from bitter experience after a minor procedure on my foot - I bounded back to the car from the day surgery unit. The horrendous pain kicked in a couple of hours later. 😩)
