Will an ingrowing hair right itself?

Ok, no pics as they would be indecent. Have lump/spot boil whatever it is on skin crease between nether regeigns and upper thigh. At first thought it was a boil or something, had it since Feb half term, was very painful at first but less so now, although doesn’t seem to have gone down at all, so now I’m think maybe not spot/boil and ingrowing pube instead Blush so will it right itself? Or do I need something doing to it?
I haven’t seen anyone about it yet but have a smear this week so thought I’d ask about it then as they’ll be in that area!

Squeeze it!

Not always. If you can attempt to reach the hair and release it then do so.

If not, you need to use a product called TEND SKIN or INGROW GO to unclog your pore and release the hair.

A lot of these cyst popping videos start out with an innocent pimple or an innocent ingrown hair that was thought to be harmless

Shine a light on it and see if you can see a hair, if so get something to bite on and get fishing.

My ingrowing hair in my nether region didn't right itself :( I kept popping it at first and it kept refilling (sorry) because I didn't exactly know what it was. Then DH said it must be an ingrowing hair and to get a pin and tweezers. It was imbedded in deep Blush. It was quite painful but managed to find the culprit hair and it healed straight away then.

Hot compress! It will hurt but try to keep doing a hot compress every day and keep the area clean. If the redness grows then you’re needing antibiotics OP

sterilise a needle, jab it in and have a wiggle around - tweezers in there too. If you don't get it out first time, at least you've made an exit for it. If you don't have the products above, but do have salicylic acid toner for face, soak cotton wool and vigorously rub it with that. If none, make a paste with aspirin & water and apply that. You need to use something like that to exfoliate the bump so it spurts it goodies everywhere. alternatively, magnesium sulfate cream & a plaster.
