It's a verruca!

Singlebutmarried · 14/10/2019 20:52

Looks like a cluster of verruccas

Buddyelf · 14/10/2019 20:53

That’s a verruca, not seen one there before but they can occur on toes.

Twirlypoos · 14/10/2019 20:53

It’s a verruca eldest had one that pushed the nail, silver nitrate at the gp sorted it

Themutts · 14/10/2019 20:54

Veruca. Ds2 had exactly this just under the toe nail, popping out. It cleared up quickly with pharmacy cream and a nail file.

Pandaintheporridge · 14/10/2019 20:56

Unanimous then! He's not my first dc but I've actually never seen a verruca before!
So - pharmacist or GP? He is 7, if that makes a difference.
Thank you all

DD has one and advice from the nurse was to poke it with a pin after a bath. Or whenever she fancied at any other time.

The poking irritates it and it falls off after a week or so (our practice won’t freeze them off anymore)

Pandaintheporridge · 14/10/2019 21:15

I'm nervous just thinking about that! It makes it sound like something.. alive on his foot. Though I'd do it quite happily to my own foot Smile

I will take him to the pharmacy tomorrow am and get their advice. Thanks for the diagnosis! I thought originally it was a sore as his nail was pushing against his foot at that point.
