Removing a loose, bruised toenail

DH did a massive walk in the summer and his toes were badly bruised. One big toenail has already come off and the other one is looking vulnerable. Is there anything wrong with giving it a helping hand? If so, how should one go about it?

I'd just leave it to come off on its own, unless it's causing problems. Could he go to a chiropodist?

Leave it to itself- it will be massively painful afterwards for a while. You can trim it down carefully to stop it catching.
