Hello sporners Smile
I had my daith pierced about two months ago. The piercer did say it will take around 6 months before it is healed completely.

Well, I've been super run down recently. Big cold, chest infection, conjunctivitis- absolutely minging, all while moving house Hmm

This morning my ear is a bit tender so I take a look and there's a big lump there.

Now, do I squeeeeze it? Or just boring salt water bathe it?

Pic (hopefully) attached

No don’t it’s a keloid, your body is trying to grow round the piercing, this happened to me. I took it out let it heal and got it repierced and it was fine. Go back to the piercer for advice.

I had my daith pierced 3 years ago and it took 2 years to settle down completely. Over the 2 years I had a couple of bumps appear and one time I went to have the piercing changed but it was just a little too swollen, so the piercer recommended tea tree oil. I applied with a cotton bud day and night (particularly after a shower, in case of residue from hair washing) for a few weeks and my daith is perfect now. I can even change the piercing myself as long as it's a clicker ring. I used tea tree oil from Holland and Barrett.

Don't squeeze. Theres nothing to squeeze. Mine did this. I used tea tree oil on it and camomile tea bags. After a month or so it flaked off then fell off. I had this from 2 months post piercing til maybe 4 months after and it has been absolutely fine since. I honestly thought it would never go but it did.

Until then, crush an aspirin, mix into a paste with water or vaseline, smear it on.
