The cat bit me. I have been to hospital and I am on anti-biotics. It is festering nicely.

OP, how long was it after the bite that you started the ABs? Ideally you should get treatment within 8 hours, but that looks like it's been festering a little longer...

Mentounasc I started antibiotics at 4pm Thursday. Cat bit me 7:30 am Thursday. I was seen at noon the same day at the minor injuries clinic and sent to A and E where I was seen immediately because I had no strength or movement. It is much better now. I have normal feeling and movement, just a festering great sore.
Cat has buggered off to son’s room. Apparently, I have traumatised her!

I can imagine you've hurt the cat's feelings hugely by not appreciating her tender bite.

Reminds me of Hubby's cat injuries. Long story but he ended up with a very scared cat clinging by it's claws onto his head. Couple of days later, he had lots of festering scabs. His scalp was so sore. Sod wouldn't let me squeeze any of them
