Any idea what this is?

On my 7 year old. Normally would just say a spot but I had one a couple of days ago in the same place. Coincidence? Or is this a bite of some kind? Thanks

Bite would be my suggestion. Did it go away? Has he got any more?

No swimming.
It's gone away now as she's squeezed it.. no more as yet, it was just odd that I had one too. But it doesn't look like a typical bite.
