DD2 said Mum I have a lump on my neck I think it’s a spot. It was a big lump with a tiny little white head on it. Gave it a squeeze and pop the most amazing amount of yellow pus exploded from it. Such a joy!
She also lets me loose on the blackheads on her back bless her. DD1 let me loose on her sporty forehead too. The joys.

My DH developed a large lump on his ear after a work trip to the far east. I said just let me have a little squeeze, see what happens.
The result was a spectacular volcanic eruption of pus that shot two metres across the patio.
The kids were horrified.
So satisfying.

Yes being allowed to squeeze their black heads is payback for all the other teenage hassle they give you!

I love having teenagers too, but not for that.

Oh so looking forward to the teenage stage . . . If they let me at em! Please tell me how you convince your teens to let you have squeezing access?

I find it really difficult not to squeeze my kids' spots, especially when I can see there's a little wormy one in there but it has no head and would just hurt them.

Restraint. Restraint. Body autonomy and all that is good, right? As is self control. 😬
