My daughters fungal toe!

My daughter has a grim fungal toe nail, I thought you lot might like it!

From a foot specialist, get this seen by a foot health specialist otherwise all the family will have them. They are easily caught and if left can be very thickened, unsightly and uncomfortable. Just applying a topical anti fungal will not get rid of it, neither will vicks or similar. You need to get it burred back to the nail plate by a professional, it wont hurt and then treat with an anti fungal, any other way and you arewasting your money

Really @Madbengalmum? She has been to the doctor and they didn't seem that bothered. She has had it for years, it actually fell off and still grew back like this!

Has she tried tea tree gel? It comes in a little glass jar. It sorted mine out.

Doctors are never bothered, they know very little about the intricacies of feet, they are not specialists hence General Practioner. Tis your call, but I would get it sorted if it were my family member. Tea tree isn't recommended due to its non proven efficacy and reactions it can cause in patients.

Hello :) I just saw this post ... It does look like an fungal infection . Go to the doctor and ask for some topical medicine
