Hole in foot

I'm not sure of the rules on sporners corner as I haven't posted here before so not sure of rules and I didn't want to gross anyone out on chat.

I was wondering if I could possible ask a favour. I've had a lump of hard skin on my foot for months and a picking sensation at times. I finally had enough and tried to see if I could get rid of said lump. I now have a hole in my foot a a was of dried skin.
While digging I though I saw a splinter which I couldn't get with tweezers so I attacked the hard bits with a needle (bad I know). I took pics to see if I could see if it was out as I'm not bendy enough to get a good look. If I post pics could someone look and see if it's out or if I've left any in please.

I think that could be a verruca. Looks like it's 'root' but is still there. Get digging about with sharp tweezers.

My friend had a hole like that. But he was undiagnosed diabetic and it didn't heal. This was the result!

The surgeon could get his thumb into the hole. It took 18 moths and four surgeries to fix it!

Given the position, I'd say callus rather than verucca - possibly cantered around a little seed corn.

I had another line around and got a few more hard bits out and today the inside is all white so going to see how it heals.

Sorry just seen this .. it's getting smaller but I still get a hard lump so I have taken to shaving it which seems to be helping thank you for asking Smile

This literally could have been my foot but can't remember how I got rid of mine.

I got a tropic foot pummice stone. Its honestly worked wonders in my hard skin. I was skeptical at first as nothing else has worked
