Going in with a sterilised needle!

I’ve had a pea sized lump on my inner thigh for about 2 weeks. I left it thinking it’s an ingrown hair, but it became quite swollen and sore. I’ve tried to squeeze and done hot compresses but even though it was Rock hard nothing happened.
So I decided for the first time ever, I’m going to use a needle. I wiped it with dettol, and my skin too. The first ‘stab’ just relived a layer of drying skin, so I stuck it in the side - success- a hole! Unfortunately nothing except some blood came out. I did another squeeze and felt something burst, a lot more blood and a tiny bit of pus. No hair though .
It’s now rock hard again with 2 tiny holes and I don’t know what to do next? Any advice from my fellow sporners?

Give it a bit of time off. Keep up the bathing, use a bit of antiseptic cream and a plaster, or mag sulphate.

See how it is in a couple of days. It may go, or it may come to a proper head.

I had left it alone since last week but It swelled up again last night so I put some mag sulphate on it overnight and gave it a little squeeze and out popped a hair with a little blob of yellow. It still feels like there’s something else in there...
