For the last week I have had a lump brewing in a rather delicate area that I cannot access easily. Yesterday, it reached epic proportions, about the size of my thumb nail, hard but I couldn't even bear to touch it lightly.I had to drive and it was sooooo uncomfortable. Last night I covered it with sudocrem and hoped it would help ease it.
This morning, after I had winced my way through a hot press, I convinced DH (who is the type to leave his spots without squeezing them, the weirdo!) to lance it as there was a tiny head. This was quite a big deal as he really hates stuff like this.
Oh my. The pain. I was hanging on to the headboard and trying not to scream. He just kept saying 'woah! So much coming out!'. My DD took some photos for me. Apparently they got out about half a teaspoon of gunk. Yuuuuck. But the relief was almost instantaneous.
