That abscess sounds scary. Maybe I should stop digging with a scalpel, but I think it might be an addiction now. I think I’ll be a bit sad if it does actually die off.

@toomany I think it's a rare occurrence - every doctor on the ward came to see it, and every surgeon that came down said they'd never seen anything like it. You could tell they didn't believe us when we told them she hadn't been messing with it - but she's a complete wuss when it comes to stuff like this (unlike me 😂) and she'd been barefoot in the garden so I think it was that.

Still, however rare, I wouldn't wish it on anyone
