This appeared under my eyebrow yesterday morning - hard, big and very sore. Today, it is no better - in fact, the redness has spread down my eyelid, and the whole area is swollen (only noticeable if I point it out though!). So sore I can’t even attempt to pop it at the moment!

Is it definitely a spot, and not an insect bite?

I had one like that a while ago. My eyelid was swollen as was the side of my nose and my under eye area. It just kept spreading and was so sore.

Even though there was a whitehead it wouldn't burst. Tried mag silo, sudocreme, hot cloths, germolene and toothpaste. Nothing would shift it. Took 4 weeks to clear it - the relief when it burst of its own accord was immense! It gave an audible pop and oozed loads of green hunk. If it had burst whilst I was asleep I would have been very disappointed!

I get painful bumps like that usually if I use a moisturiser, serum , primer or a foundation containing silicone.
I just put some Clearasil ultra treatment on it. It comes to a head in 2 days.
