DP has a 'growth' type pimple on his arm. It's hard but not sore to touch. There's a small dimple where a hair is growing out of it. Anyone got any ideas what it is and most importantly can I pluck the hair? Smile
Pic of pimple.....

You cab only pluck it if you film it.
It looks like an infected hair follicle. Put a hot flannel on to draw it, then POP.

teaiseverything · 28/02/2018 16:24

It's very very important to take pictures of the whole process.

picklemepopcorn · 28/02/2018 16:25

How long has it been there? DH has one that is years old, which I wouldn't mess with he wouldn't let me mess with.

fantasmasgoria1 · 28/02/2018 16:26

Looks like a nipple! 😂

ohfourfoxache · 28/02/2018 16:34

Looks like that would be painful to pop

Could he soak it in water, as hot as he can tolerate, then pluck the hair out?

Sanderz · 28/02/2018 16:36

I would 100% be plucking that hair.

tectonicplates · 28/02/2018 16:43

I think you need to squeeze the pus out first, in order to get access to pluck the hair out.

MrsJackRackham · 28/02/2018 17:27

I tried bursting it with a sterile needle and gave it a right good squeeze but nothing Sad just a wee bit of blood. Phone was all set to record as well.

So much promise Sad

teaiseverything · 28/02/2018 18:01

Apply a hot wet flannel and try again.

I'm so invested now.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 28/02/2018 18:03

That can’t be the end of it Sad

picklemepopcorn · 28/02/2018 18:11

Honestly, I don't think it's a spot.unless it's very new?

MrsJackRackham · 28/02/2018 21:27

I'm so sorry it's a massive anti climax, no one is more disappointed that I am. He's had it for about six months now and I've been trying to get my hands on it all this time. When he agreed to have picture posted on Mumsnet I was beside myself.

Maybe put some magnesium sulphate paste on it overnight to draw it up.

rumbelina · 03/03/2018 23:02

Don’t give up, OP! Growth mindset and all that. Put his arm in hot water for 5 minutes and tweeze that fucker.

almondfinger · 06/03/2018 22:43

My DH has one of these, cant remember the name but it's not a squeezer, It's some sort of cyst after say an ingrown hair, but it's hard to the touch and not for squeezing.
