Spornors! Help diagnose.

DP has a 'growth' type pimple on his arm. It's hard but not sore to touch. There's a small dimple where a hair is growing out of it. Anyone got any ideas what it is and most importantly can I pluck the hair?

You cab only pluck it if you film it.
It looks like an infected hair follicle. Put a hot flannel on to draw it, then POP.

It's very very important to take pictures of the whole process.

How long has it been there? DH has one that is years old, which I wouldn't mess with he wouldn't let me mess with.

Could he soak it in water, as hot as he can tolerate, then pluck the hair out?

I would 100% be plucking that hair.

I think you need to squeeze the pus out first, in order to get access to pluck the hair out.

I tried bursting it with a sterile needle and gave it a right good squeeze but nothing just a wee bit of blood. Phone was all set to record as well.

I'm so sorry it's a massive anti climax, no one is more disappointed that I am. He's had it for about six months now and I've been trying to get my hands on it all this time. When he agreed to have picture posted on Mumsnet I was beside myself.

Maybe put some magnesium sulphate paste on it overnight to draw it up.

Don’t give up, OP! Growth mindset and all that. Put his arm in hot water for 5 minutes and tweeze that fucker.

My DH has one of these, cant remember the name but it's not a squeezer, It's some sort of cyst after say an ingrown hair, but it's hard to the touch and not for squeezing.
