Unbelievably painful lump/spot in ear

Being a sporner is great...until you get something yourself that really REALLY hurts.

I've got what feels like an enormous spot in my ear. Can't reach it/photograph it but bloody hell, it hurts.

Tips to help it burst??? It's so painful/hot and hurts like hell when I turn my head

Have you tried going at it with the hooped end of a Kirby grip?

At the moments it's just too painful. I need a way to alleviate some of the pain/pressure before pushing!!!

Tiny bit of Ibuprofen gel on it?

Two cotton buds one in each hand and some gentle pressure from either side. Or bit of TCP ( old school, me) on cotton buds.

When it's ready to go you'll get the most fabulous popping noise. Then it will all be worth it, promise.

Have a shower and wash your hair, warming up makes the spot easier to burst. Put a little bit of cotton wool in your ear, you don't want it going inside

Can you numb it with ice?

Then pop the fucker? And show us the evidence

It's calmed down but it's still there, but no obvious head...
