What can I do about this spot

I have a spot on my eye. I don’t know wha to do about it and because it is almost in my eye I can’t really put anything on it. It’s not a stye (sp) and has been there a while.

I would ask an optician to look at it. Had a friend who had a chalazion cyst and it took a while to go. Best to get expert advice

I went to the optometrist this week with one exactly like that! It’s basically a cyst where an oil gland has got blocked up. They said they could “shave it off” for me but I’m not bothered about it so have left it. Also got diagnosed with blepharitis - which is blocked oil glands causing itchy dry eyes. V common apparently - treatment hot eye mask and cleaning eye lid twice a day
