Do fake footner products work?

I've become obsessed with footner after first seeing it here. And I've seen so many products advertising the same thing for a fraction of the price. I tried one, 99p off eBay, figured even as a moisturiser it's cheaper than the normal stuff I buy. And of course it did nothing to peel my feet.

So has anyone tried cheaper alternatives and have them work, or do I just go for the tried and tested product? (And have to explain to DH why they're worth the money compared to the cheap crap.)

I've only tried the primark one and found it didn't make much difference on my feet. Enjoyed the pampering experience though. I was expecting loads of skin to come off but it was minimal.

I tried Primark too and it was rubbish! Don't waste £4

I got a cheap one off Amazon and it was rubbish

I tried the Boots own one. It was ok but then I did a proper footner recently and it was much better.

I've used footner once and fakener (off Amazon) loads. I always leave the socks on for two hours and get full peel within 4 days.

I've bought Korean ones that are great. Haven't tried footner at all, but I do have a box waiting now, I got it on offer and am saving it for some later date. 😎 I've used Tony Moly super peeling liquid and it's good, and I'm actually currently awaiting the shedding to start from a Polish peel from the brand Bielenda. It's not looking promising though, I should have saved my money and bought tony moly instead :(

I used the one from Amazon pure derm I think it is and it works for me. I've just soaked my feet to help the peeling along.

I've used them and had them all work even dirt cheap ones. Leave them on for two hours and then soak feet every few days. The real cheapies take longer to peel though.

As a medium price option which I find as good as footner I buy the Holika Holika ones from Beauty Net Korea.
