Any idea what this patch on my leg is?

Appeared about a month ago. Hasn't changed since I noticed it. No trauma, no pain, no itching, no apparent cause, doesn't feel any different from the rest of the skin on my leg. Just a random red speckly patch of skin.

Any ideas?

OH my god I had exactly the same thing!!!!!!! No idea what it was but after about 6 months it just faded away

There appears to be some old bruising around it. Is that correct or is it just the light?

Is that patch rubbing on anything regularly?

Did the rash appear at that size or has it spread at all?

Have you had any fever in the last month?

It's not ringworm, is it? I had that many years ago and it looked a bit like that. If you google it you get very angry complete circles pictured, but mine was more like your picture.
It's not a worm, btw, it's a fungus. In which case antifungal cream will clear it.
