I'm not sure the photo does it justice but DH has about 15 pus filled spots come up on his shin. He's been started on antibiotics for this as it's getting much worse & is very painful.

I thought my fellow sporners would appreciate a photo though!!

Yuk. Do you know what caused it?

Chillyegg · 21/05/2017 16:29

Have you squeezed any of them....id be having a field day. Wonderfully disgusting you lucky thing.

Shockers · 21/05/2017 16:31

I bet if you carefully tweezed out the hairs at the centre, they'd seep wonderfully.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 21/05/2017 16:34

Ohhh! Is it from shin pads? My DH has got some shocking shin pad blisters but won't let me near them Angry

SomedayMyPrinceWillCome · 21/05/2017 16:53

He let me at them with a sterilised needle, it was great fun. They refilled within an hour or so.
No idea what's caused it - he doesn't wear shin pads.
It would be even more fun if they weren't so painful, poor DH he is really suffering and he normally doesn't ever complain

Can you put a hot flannel on them and see if it helps the pain a bit?

picklemepopcorn · 21/05/2017 17:18

I'd have to use antibacterial soap, and drain them regularly. I'd be twitching if that was in my house...

AceholeRimmer · 21/05/2017 19:13

This is amazing. Apart from being painful of course! It would be like Christmas of DP had this Grin

AceholeRimmer · 21/05/2017 19:13

Warm bath with dettoll/TCP might be good.

GrumpySausage · 21/05/2017 19:26

Has he been near any hogweed?

Odd question i know but my DH has something similar on his arm and hand after brushing against some hogweed. Turns out it can be quite nasty.

Poor DH really suffered, he struggled to move his arm for days and had to have antibiotics to clear it up.

SomedayMyPrinceWillCome · 21/05/2017 19:38

Wouldn't have thought he'd been near any hogweed, but it's a good question - I'll ask him.
I'll see if I can tempt him into a hot bath or hot flannel this evening

Has he been on any new medication? I had a strange reaction to some epilepsy medication similar to the photo.
