What the feck is this please?! Pic included

As above. I've always had it. Thought it was a wart but Google says otherwise.
It's In a very prominent place and I hate it. Its bigger IRL than on the pic and more pinkish in colour.
I've squeezed and poked and picked to no avail the bastard thing. I'd love it removed but can't afford private. Would my doc be able to help? Any one else had one/removed?

It actually looks like things that my DH has. They are fatty deposits under his skin, some of them quite large. He's had a few removed under minor day surgery. One left a massive hole in his chest. It was grim.

My hubby had one like this. He had drawing ointment on it and one day it came to a head. I squeezed it like toothpaste. Was very satisfactory
