I wish I'd posted 3 weeks ago but I wasn't expecting to be on my second round of antibiotics and have a hole in my shoulder !

I'm so sorry there are no other pictures, I got a cat's bum face from DH when I asked him to take the picture this morning! It's taken days to pluck up the courage to ask him!

When you look at the picture there is a white patch at the top of the hole, that is what began the (w)hole saga.
I have a lump that comes and goes but 3 weeks ago it became very hard and sore about the size of a10p, I decided to go to the Doctor when it began to ooze greeny/grey pus. I was able to get a phone consultation and he said come straight to the surgery. He gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way!
About 3 days later I had a raw oozing mess where the hole is. I finished the antibiotics and went in to the surgery and managed to get an appointment for the next day (Friday).
The Dr just said it had burst, to keep it clean and covered and gave me more antibiotics.

Over the next few days the swelling and soreness eased alot. On Tuesday when DH was cleaning it he grabbed for the tweezers and pulled out the plug! It was gross! Grin

The Dr said to come back if it was still a mess in a week, problem with that is I haven't been taking my tablets properly, I was supposed to take 4 a day I've only been taking 3, whoops!

I'm going to finish the tablets, but do I go back to the Dr or will it heal by itself?

DH did want me to say that he has been very useful and not wanted to throw up at all while dealing with my 'issue' !
So thanks Pottering I will pass on your bravo!

I'm going to finish the tabs and see how it is on Tuesday, it's shrinking already so I think It'll be fine now.

What did he do with the plug? If it's anything other than put it on a tissue for you to photograph and post here he's failed his mission however much it helped you!
