Is your skin care range paraben free? I have also heard that use of petroleum is used in your products?
I think when it comes to babies only the most natural products should be used..
didn't want to offend anyone but just a word of advise :)

How often should I wash my toddler's hair? I've been washing it daily for about a year because I hate it looking greasy, but my friend washes her son's once or twice a weeks.

I remember being conscious of using as little as possible in the way of soap and wipes etc on my newborn's skin at first. But then when they do the most explosive and sticky poos, what DO you do to get it off effectively?! It's like tar sometimes and warm water just doesn't cut it.

I was told by a health professional leading my local baby massage course that you should not use Baby Oil, like Johnson's, on baby's skin because it is a by-product of the petroleum industry and harmful to their sensitive skin. They recommended an inert carrier oil like rapeseed oil. Is this true?

My first daughter had bad eczema for several years, starting when she was a baby.,

My second daughter is 5 months, and not showing any signs. Can we relax and assume she will be ok, or should we continue to avoid perfumed products etc?

My baby is 8 weeks old and has lots of gorgeous hair. In the hospital they tell you to only bath the baby in warm water but don't say when you can move on. So can you tell me when are you can start to use baby bath and when are you supposed to start using shampoo?

If your baby/child has nappy rash should you stop using products in the bath and just revert back to plain water in case it causes additional irritation?

I worry that your products make skin drier. Can you disprove this? So much dry skin at this time of year! Thank you.

My 16 week old baby dribbles a lot and even when wearing a big he still seems to get a small rash on his neck. I use e45 cream but its not really working too well. What would be best to use to keep the area clear and rash free?

I'd like to know if a 3 month old really does need their hair washing unless it's visibly dirty. Also, is there any preventative care to avoid eczema. I have had it since childhood and would love my children not to develop it.

I would use olive oil / coconut oil on dry skin- seek advice for eczema and use that.

This thread feels a bit snake oil- it's sponsored by a toiletries company- of bourse they will recommend their own products!

We have been using your no more tears shampoo but my son still gets distressed when hair washing and says his eyes sting. How do you test and ensure that your products don't cause sore stinging eyes in young children?

Smile My son and daughter both have eczema luckly Johnsons doesn't irritate them as much as other bath products but do you think bathing them in a very slightly cooler bath than normal may calm down the redness and scratching after they get out? They get left with unsightly scratch marks after being in the bath and I'm wondering if its the warmth that makes them do it?

I hope this isn't a stupid question. My youngest has eczema patches. He LOVES the bath and cries when we take him out. Is there such a thing as being in the water for too long? Are the long baths contributing to his eczema?
Thanks!

when my baby had flaky dry scalp, I got mixed messages from the health visitor and GP each saying different things. One said not to wash it often and to rub with baby oil. The other said to wash it frequently (and still use baby oil too). I was left confused about what to do - Any advice on cradle cap?

My children both have lovely skin however I suffer with Atopic Eczema and Contact Dermititis, I have found that using products branded "sensitive" are worse for my skin than "normal" products.

I currently use the Bedtime Baby Bath because I love the smell but would you be able to recommend any other products that won't harm my skin as much. At present my hands are extremely dry, chapped and have split around the knuckles and joints.

Any advice you have would be fantastic!

How does Johnson's compare with other brands, such as Simple? My daughter has eczema so we are very careful about the products she uses.
