Sue Gatenby from Tropicana is here to answer any questions you may have about enjoying fruit juice and its nutritional benefits, for both you and your children. Sue has 25 years of industry experience and is here to share her top tips and advice.

There’s been lots of confusion about juice, and we’re here to help clear the air and explain how 100% pure fruit juice can play an important role in a healthy and balanced diet."

Here's a little bit more about Sue:

Sue Gatenby is the Senior Director, Nutrition with responsibility for nutrition strategy at Tropicana. Sue has over 25 years’ experience in nutrition research, education and in the food industry. She has a BSc and PhD in Nutrition and Postgraduate Diplomas in Dietetics and Sports Nutrition. Prior to joining PepsiCo Sue held positions at the John Radcliffe Hospital, the Universities of London & Surrey and Institute of Food Research (IFR). During her time at the IFR she consulted for the Department of Health in the research and development of the <a class="break-all" href="//mailto:www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Goodfood/Pages/eatwell-plate.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Eatwell Plate. She is also a Governor of the British Nutrition Foundation.

I get confused as to whether my son can drink fruit juice because of the amount of sugar, I know it is natural sugar but this will still effect his teeth. Also which is best fruit juice or no added sugar squash

I am confused about fruit juice. Some people say its good for you and counts as one of your five a day and some people say its bad for you, Is full of sugar and rots your teeth. I'm never sure if giving fruit juice to my children is the best thing for them. I would be grateful for any advice about giving fruit juice to children.

Which is going to be better for me to drink. Fresh juice or sugar free cordial? Right now i'm only drinking water and I hate it so would like a suggestion as to which is going to be more beneficial for me.

I want my children to have a health diet, but am confused over the made from concentrate versus freshly squeezed and bottled, which is best. I do not trust the brands as they will always say there's are the best. I need a neutral accurate answer. Thanks

We are told that simply by juicing in the first place we reduce the health benefits, compared to eating the fruit without juicing it. How much difference does this make? I have kids who adore orange juice but won't go near an actual orange!

Even with a no sugar added fruit juice, is the amount of naturally occurring sugars enough that I should be avoiding feeding this to my child? I currently don't because I feel it's an unnecessary extra source of calories and sugar.
