Would you like to attend a launch event for Swedish children’s fashion brand Newbie? - £150 voucher to be won

We’ve been asked by Swedish children’s lifestyle brand Newbie to find Mumsnetters to attend their VIP opening event at Bluewater Shopping Centre on Thursday 5th April.

Here’s what Newbie has to say: “Newbie’s collections focus on sustainability, quality and design: products are made using organic cotton and any fabrics used that are not cotton are either sustainable or recycled. Newbie’s designs, with patterns and colours inspired by nature, have been developed to create pieces which won’t age, but will be inherited and loved for generations.”

At the event there will be complimentary personalisation on all purchases, free coffee and traditional Swedish cinnamon buns. Plus, all Mumsnetters who are selected to attend will receive a goody bag - including a £30 Newbie voucher, artisan coffee and beauty products, plus other tbc treats.

All who attend and give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £150 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

I think it might have been helpful to specify that this is a baby and toddler brand, rather than a children's range

They go up to age 8 I believe.

What time is the event please? Is it an all day thing?

I love Swedish children's clothing brands especially P.O.P would love to attend and check it out.

@GeekyWombat - the VIP opening will run from 10-11am, but the store will be open all day.

@RoseAndRose - As mentioned by mytittifersungtheirsong, Newbie clothing goes up to age 8.

We've just had one open in Kingston and the clothes are beautiful.

I was selected, replied literally as the email was received to confirm my attendance and this afternoon (a few days later), I've had an email saying 'sorry, no spaces left'.

So much for 'emailing replacements for those who didn't reply'. Those who DID reply didn't even get a space. Really disappointed. 🙁

Just back from this... Had an amazing time, got some great clothes (although might have got a bit overexcited and spent more than the £30 voucher ;)). DD and DS both have gorgeous outfits for a special night out this summer though, goodie bag was epic and everyone was lovely. I also, randomly, saw a woman wearing the comfiest looking pair of H&M trousers ever which I may have now ordered. So overall a win for everyone!
