We're very excited to offer Mumsnetters the chance to attend an exclusive Mumsnet screening on Sunday 4th October - in either London or Manchester - of Hotel Transylvania 2 in 3D!

You can read more about the film here.

Hotel Transylvania 2 Synopsis:
Drac's pack is back for an all-new monster comedy adventure in Sony Pictures Animation's Hotel Transylvania 2! Everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania...
Dracula's rigid monster-only hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn't showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny - and in for a major cultural shock of her own - 'Vampa' Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a "monster-in-training" boot camp. But little do they know that Drac's grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood - and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania - things are going to get batty!

Watch the trailer below

Locations and times below
ODEON Trafford Centre, Manchester - film starts at 10:30am (doors open at 09:30am)

Vue Westfield, Shepherd's Bush, London - film starts at 10:30am (doors open at 09:30am)

There will be Hotel Transylvania 2 treats and snacks waiting for you on your seats Smile Late comers will not be admitted and there will be no mobile phone/video camera/camera use permitted in the theatre.

You're welcome to bring your children to the event and a max of 2 adults per party. Please state on the form the group size - no changes to this can be made as we want to fill each cinema! You will need to make your own way to the cinema but there is parking available at Trafford Centre and Westfield, London is easily accessible by public transport.

Please note, the film is rated U and is recommended for children age 6+.
In return we want you to return to Mumsnet after the screening and to add your film review as well as post a photo or two of you and your DC at the screening. We'd also love it if you could tweet your review using #HotelT2. Everyone who posts their feedback on the thread on Mumsnet will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 John Lewis voucher and a Hotel Transylvania 2 goody bag!

If you'd like to attend please sign up here.

We'll be in touch with selected attendees soon.

Thanks

Hi everyone, what kind of problems are you experiencing with the link and getting the tickets? If you have any persisting problems please do email!

OP posts:
Beachday · 29/09/2015 09:14

The link that you sent (for the London one) just takes you to the home page.
I've registered and I guessed that the 6 digit number in the link might have been the code for the tickets, but that doesn't work.
I'm getting a bit worried now, the website mentions giving tickets to their members if there are any left over.
I've told ds he's going, and the disappointment will be too much to bear- he's a bit dramatic!!

Beachday · 29/09/2015 09:19

If that 6 digit number is the code, absolutely nothing happens when you input it. No error message, just goes back to home screen

HitsAndMrs · 29/09/2015 19:43

Same is happening to me for the Manchester one. Link just takes you to home page but there are no tickets upon registering and the code takes you back to the home page.

I got mine working by logging on through Safari using my Mac. It wouldn't work otherwise. Maybe try another browser?

whatdoIget · 30/09/2015 05:27

Fantasyland, we'll probably get there about that time, or maybe a bit earlier.

I managed to print off the tickets using Firefox for pc, if that's any help for those having problems

AnnMumsnet · 30/09/2015 10:45

Any ticket issues please do email [email protected] and we can sort
thanks

sfancy · 30/09/2015 13:29

Yah! I have my tickets-printed out with no problems!

BlueBlueBelles · 01/10/2015 17:49

I've just randomly received an email telling me I'm succesful? But it was written to a mans name not mine, but my email (and I had entered)

It was for the London one sunday.

Is this right? Has someone dropped out or was my email that delayed? Or was it not meant for me?!

Icyblue · 01/10/2015 17:57

Blue My email was addressed to a man too which was not my name.

I've printed off the tickets using Internet Explorer as the link didn't work with Chrome.

Also, after printing off the tickets I then unsubscribed from Show Film First. Is it necessary to stay registered with them until after the screening?

BlueBlueBelles · 01/10/2015 20:23

Fab ok, have downloaded tickets then - mumsnet ignore the reply I sent!

Though I only claimed 3 tickets instead of original 5 - getting the email a week after everyone else it seems means DP and DSS have other plans. Hope you can find a home for the other two MN!

WarmHugs · 04/10/2015 07:03

Is anyone going to the Trafford Centre today? One email says arrive 9am, the other 9.30am, but the Trafford Centre website says the Odeon opens at 10 (with the rest at 12).

Don't really want to be sat outside for an hour!

BlueBlueBelles · 04/10/2015 09:38

We are here in London! With Mavis, Murray and frank :-)

Only cost me a potential speeding fine (darn London, completely thought I was doing the right speed) and £10 parking! Ha!

This is our review after watching #HotelT2 premiere at the Trafford Centre.

After arriving nearly a hour and a half before the film start time as requested on the tickets as it said 'fun in the foyet from 9am' there wasn't anything in the foyet like there seemed to be at the london venue.

I then had to make a game of I Spy last nearly over an hour to amuse my son!

After awhile we were allowed into the cinema where it quickly became full.
My son had managed to eat his body-weight in popcorn before the film actually started as we were early.

Then the cinema began giving out free popcorn and water which would have been better a bit earlier as most people had already purchased popcorn and drinks waiting to go in.

Anyway to the film, it was actually quite good and better than i thought it was going to be as sequels are never as good as the original.

The film was a bit slow to begin with but once Drac looks after Dennis on his own it picks up and becomes quite funny.

My son laughed quite a few times and said it was better than the first film.

He said Dracs miserable face (at the monster camp singalong) reminded him of my face!

The film does have a good message throughout that it doesn't matter whether you are a monster or a human which was good.

Overall it was a good film and we would watch again so thank you to mumsnet for the opportunity to go and see the film
