McDonald’s is looking for Mumsnetters to attend their Community Football days across the country.

Here’s what McDonald’s says, “This summer we’re giving over 7,000 children the chance to take part in a Community Football event, with seven events across the UK and we can’t wait for some Mumsnetters and their families to join us. We’ve supported grassroots football for over 13 years and want to give as many young people as possible the chance to enjoy the beautiful game.”

D's would be delighted with life, fingers and toes crossed.

TheyGotTheMustardOut · 14/07/2015 11:24

If you don't get enough people for the Gwent date I have a 4 year old who would live to go!

confusedofengland · 15/07/2015 09:38

I have signed up for this for DS1, who is 6 & football mad Grin I also have 2 smaller DSes (4 & will be 17 months), who are not yet interested in football but I think would enjoy the experience. Are they allowed to tag along if we get picked? If not, I will stay with them & DH with DS1, but would be great if we could all go Grin

LondonSuperTrooper · 16/07/2015 19:33

My son is 8 years old and is football mad. He plays for a local club and would love this opportunity.
We are Surrey based.

Recruitment for the ENGLAND EVENTS is now closed. All other events are STILL OPEN for recruitment so sign up for these!

For those who would still be interested in attending the England McDonald's Community Football Days you are encouraged to join with the rest of the local community. Described as being a small open door festival with football action, celebrity football ambassadors and inflatable games they would like as many people to attend as possible!

MichelleMumsnet · 07/08/2015 16:05

If you'd like to see what Mumsnetters think of the events which have taken place so far, you can read the feedback here !!
