SUBWAY® stores have joined forces with Disney UK & Ireland to present the latest adventure in the Star Wars universe: the animated one hour movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion.

We’ve been asked to find lots of Mumsnetters and their families to attend an exclusive preview of the movie on Sunday 28th September at 10.30 a.m. in Covent Garden, London, before it launches on Disney XD on 3rd October.

You can view the film trailer here:

Synopsis: Star Wars Rebels continues the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people. The clever and motley crew of the starship Ghost is amongst a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire. Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, encounter colourful adversaries, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion.

Subway has said “SUBWAY® stores have joined the rebellion with six limited edition Star Wars Rebels bags and trading cards to collect with the purchase of any Kids’ Pak™. The Kids’ Pak™ includes a Low-Fat 4-inch Sub, Capri Sun Fruit Crush Drink and a BEAR Pure Fruit Yoyos, giving kids two of their recommended five-a-day.”

The screening will include a variety of fun-filled kids activities and a chance to meet the Storm Troopers. Your DCs will also be provided with a SUBWAY Kids’ Pak™ each before you are shown to your seats and left to sit back and enjoy the film!

We'd then like you to come back to a thread on Mumsnet and tell us what you and your family thought of the film. Your film reviews may well be used by the film promoters on their social media channels as well as elsewhere.

We'd also love it if you could take a few pictures of your DCs enjoying their day out and upload them to the feedback thread. Pictures may be used on by Subway on their social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only upload pictures if you're comfortable with this.

So, if you'd like to see Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion before anyone else, please sign up here - www.surveymonkey.com/s/WY9NZR7.

Please note, the film is suitable for any age, however due to the length of the film time (60min) it may not be advisable for children under 2 years to attend.

If you're selected to attend you will be emailed by 23rd September with details of how to get your tickets. You will need to add your details on a link we will send you. You'll then need to print your tickets at home and bring them with you to the screening to gain entry.

Please note: max 4 tickets per Mumsnetter. You'll need to make your own way to the screening: travel costs will not be paid.

Everyone who is selected to attend and adds a review onto the feedback thread will be in with a chance of winning a Star Wars Rebels goody bag!

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

My DCs are so excited. They've picked out their Subway choices already! DD is even talking about skipping breakfast as it's 'going to be more of a brunch'. :) DS thinks he is meeting Dark Evader (his words). He refuses to be corrected on this!
