Would you like to meet some fellow MNers in your local area? 10 Mumsnet Local editors and ambassadors will be hosting TASSIMO coffee morning in their local area. We are looking for 10 Mumsnetters to attend each coffee morning on different days between 29th April and 7th May.

Here’s what TASSIMO have to say, “The stylish TASSIMO automated system understands you, no matter how hard your day has been. It really couldn’t be simpler, or tastier. The patented capsules are specially made for TASSIMO machines and are perfectly dosed with high-quality sealed ingredients. And if you’re fickle about your tipple, it’s not a problem as you can safely switch drinks as often as you want. The system prevents any previous drinks sneaking in and a stream rinse automatically cleans up every last drop.

The new TASSIMO Vivy is the perfect addition to any kitchen thanks to its petite size and compact design. The latest addition to the TASSIMO range offers the same flexibility and choice as a standard TASSIMO coffee machine but with a much smaller footprint.”

Below are the dates and locations for the TASSIMO coffee mornings:

Bournemouth and Poole: 7th May
Cambridge: 1st May
Colchester: 30th April
Cornwall: 2nd May
Canterbury, Kent: 1st May
Manchester: 29th April
Roehampton, Merton: 1st May
Newcastle: 5th May
Peterborough: 3rd May
Sheffield: 30th April

The Local editor or ambassador will have received a TASSIMO Vivy and a variety of different T DISCS to use to serve hot drinks to all those attending.

After the coffee morning attendees will be asked to leave their feedback on the TASSIMO Vivy and hot drinks provided on a thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who adds their feedback will be entered into a prize draw to win their own TASSIMO Vivy (RRP £99.99).

If you’re interested in attending one of the coffee mornings, please sign up here.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Sad to say that the Canterbury/Kent one has had to be cancelled.

Apologies to those who signed up Sad

To confirm, it does not look like the Tassimo machine will arrive in time but I have lots of you lovely ladies signed up for the event and I have paid for the venue so will go ahead as planned.

This looks like being our best meet up yet so I hope you can all still make it.

I will be there, with cake, I will bring along my own coffee machine which while not being up to Tassimo standard makes a very acceptable brew!

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Truro Library 10:30am Friday 2 May. Smile Brew Cake Smile

The Tassimo Vivy Coffee Morning season is almost to an end....

Just wanted to feed back and say thank you to the lovely Mumsnetters who came along to the Merton one and thanks to Tassimo too!

It is a lovely, sleek and compact machine that works fast to produce drinks of great variety. Loved the hot chocolate (Suchard and Cadbury).

This machine would be as good a buy for teens and young people going off to Uni, as for singletons, couples and families!

Thank you to the MumsNetters who came along to Fridays event. I have feedback forms for Tasimmo and will collate them ready to send back today.

I was very disappointed with the machine so think I was testing a faulty model. One if my testers said it was not the same as her Tassimo at home so was very grateful for this comparison. The drinks my machine makes are tiny, lukewarm and only the cadburys hot chocolate seemed to work out as it was cool enough for young DCs to drink straight away which I am sure was not the intention.

Also, the Suchard and latte packages had leaked everywhere all over everything including the aprons so was rather sticky and messy to clean up.
