Hello, we co-ordinate for the football, children in need, Christmas, and would wear a 'similar vibe' when on holiday and at weekends, but we also like to be individuals on our look - I think we need to be individual too.

My DS always wants to dress like his DP, and loves his 'work trousers' and work boots, we dress alike but not the same .

We don't really match, unless it's a themed wedding/ family photo when we are asked to wear a certain colour, but we do love to be individuals.

Matching Christmas jammies has become something of a tradition, however for leaving the house clothes, only managed to get DS in a shirt in the same pattern as a dress I had when he was about 5. They are far too cool for such nonsense. Had anyone convinced teens to do matching?!

The only time we match is when the XMas PJ's come out.
i.e. in secret at home my teens love matching. Out & about, not so much.

Love this pretty jumper for my mini me - and would wear it in winter a lot - but the trousers/jeans would be different. We like a similar vibe but not exactly the same.

I quite like the Cecily Cotton Midi Dress.

Whilst my DD would not match during they day - we would love these for night time and lounging at home for lazy mornings, and early evenings.

I have a five year old girl and she's desparate for us to match. I haven't bought anything yet, I was thinking maybe at Christmas. I have to say though that I love these dresses (and both styles are very us!) :

I love Boden for childrens clothes however would never match as a family. Coordinate, perhaps - subconsciously.

I like the Printed Jersey Dungaree Set, Green Dogs and the Purple dress with a big red heart however disappointed to see it only goes up to size 7-8.

This is a simple, non fussy design which would very much suit my tall 7 year old. I now have to buy her clothes from France as they seem to allow young girls to dress like young girls. Next etc all have leopard print, wet look leggings, muted colours etc. Boden has previously been great at making the range for older girls however this season this only seems to be applicable for the more fussy (which I love but my daughter does not) designs. It would be great to see Boden take this into consideration.

My youngest daughter liked to match with me from about 8 till 10 years old. A short lived episode in our lives and one that that older two girls did not share. They are both more likely to match with dad’s wardobe! However my eldest now steals my clothes if that is ‘matching’. The best one we had (with youngest) was a mum and me dress she insisted we both buy. Mine still fits, hers is too small but I’m going to sell them as a set as it’s very cute.

I would never do the matching outfit thing, although I would stretch to similar colours. I usually wear a sari, I can’t imagine my little 3 yr old would want to tangle herself in one!
