The ice skating! I'm pretty useless but find it so exciting and fun with the whole family!!

ExquisiteSocialSkills · 19/11/2024 02:43

Ice Kingdom and Giant Wheel.

ExquisiteSocialSkills · 19/11/2024 02:47

Did I miss the poll?

Foxlover46 · 19/11/2024 05:36

Will be my daughters first visit so ice skating , prob one of the adrenaline fast rides for her and Christmas markets for shopping with a hot chocolate and churro 🤩🫶🏻

itsywitsy · 19/11/2024 09:40

As long as there is Christmas music playing - ice skating - no pop music please - spoils the ambience - and the big wheel and starflyer.

pushchairprincess · 19/11/2024 11:37

Bavarian fun house, Ice skating, the big wheel starflyer and santa's pub

lillypopdaisyduke · 19/11/2024 14:34

Not a fan of ice skating - it's too crowded - but love the magical ice kingdom and the flying jumbos - and the street food - (even though it's very expensive)

Asuwere · 19/11/2024 18:09

My kids love the ice skating.

LittleDeeAndME · 21/11/2024 13:58

Today's the day ! I've got a five peaks pass, and am looking forward to the starflyer - it's an incredible ride - and the food and mulled wine stalls makes it feel like it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

ketchuporbrownsauce · 22/11/2024 13:26

The time machine, the hangover and scenic railway.

DanBenandBud · 23/11/2024 13:39

Five peaks looks a thrilling ride so I'd be buying tickets for that, also the big wheel and bottomless pizza.

SweetSakura · 24/11/2024 19:32

Ice skating outside is always my most favourite bit of Christmas!

lovemyflipflops · 25/11/2024 10:05

The Big Wheel and ice skating - then go to a food venue, probably the bottomless pizza

benjaminjamesandgraham · 26/11/2024 10:02

The Christmas market, Santas grotto and the big wheel

littlecottonbud · 27/11/2024 11:51

Love to go on the starflyer and bottomless pizza

Bloodylovecake · 06/12/2024 18:08

Definitely the Bar Ice! I’ve always wanted to stay at an ice hotel and this would be the closest I’ll probably get.

CordeliaScott · 07/12/2024 09:07

I love wandering around food stalls and rarely say no to a mulled wine

SereneCapybara · 10/12/2024 08:45

When we go, it is the attractions that we love the best. The ice sculptures and the ice slide, the fabulous weird and wonderful circus, the slow ferris wheel. I've not braved the wilder rides - we love the things you can't find elsewhere and the ice sculptures and slide are the best of those.

@rosiemumsnet - I couldn't get the poll to work. I'd have polled family - teens.

PumpkinPurple · 11/12/2024 17:37

Just the general atmosphere when wandering around. Mulled wines, kids rides, food stalls etc.

The poll appears to be closed.

Switcher · 14/12/2024 10:47

WW is a shitty rip off hellhole and I'd rather scoop out my eyeballs with a spoon than stand in the bullshit queues for some bullshit priced crap food. HTH.

ScarletWitchM · 16/12/2024 22:47

None winter wonderland is a total disaster and rip off and I would never go again

lillypopdaisyduke · 17/12/2024 11:09

Can I also add the giant wheel - what a view !

rosiemumsnet · 18/12/2024 11:18

Walking around a Christmas market sipping a hot drink feels so festive so I look forward to that.

Onthetubetoday · 18/12/2024 21:49

Not a cm of it. Went once, never again. Only tourists who know no better go.
