We do the festival of lights type of events with a hot chocolate.

msbevvy · 05/11/2024 11:58

The ice slide looks fun. I would follow the experience with a fondue.

DinkyDaffodil · 05/11/2024 13:14

The food stalls - Love to try the street foods here !

QueenTweenandKingTeen · 05/11/2024 13:17

I have been to HPWW since 2010, on and off, when my first was born. We do enjoy it, but it has become rather pricey, and unless I win this £200, I am not sure we'll go this year. We have always enjoyed the ice carving place, as well as the rides.
The food is pretty terrible though, for vegans.

pushchairprincess · 05/11/2024 13:19

The Aeronaut Starflyer - at night time - it's just the best experience !

Bubugum · 05/11/2024 13:20

The ice kingdom and ice slide is what I’m looking forward to!

DanBenandBud · 05/11/2024 13:25

We will be heading to the giant wheel - after taking in the food and ice bar as a slow way to see the park and the sights. Simply magical !

DaisyDando · 05/11/2024 13:32

We are looking forward to the ice-skating, although I fear for my backside!

EveryOtherNameTaken · 05/11/2024 13:42

I love the Bavarian Village and the Munchen Loop!

fragglerockless · 05/11/2024 13:53

Bar Ice gets my vote for this year. Although last time we went the ice sculptures were great as well.

benjaminjamesandgraham · 05/11/2024 15:48

The pepsi max firepit sounds a lovely place to spend some time, we would have some street food, ice skating then finish on the big wheel. It does seem expensive this year tbh. Four attractions plus food will cost us £150. .... But it's Christmas I suppose.

fionabeeb · 05/11/2024 18:15

I love a window shop to see the decorations in department stores and hot chocolate with marshmallows. We bake for the neighbours just before the big day which makes it feel real

MiraculousLadybug · 05/11/2024 18:17

The ice skating!

Inezz · 05/11/2024 18:25

The ice skating- then warming up with a glühwein afterwards!

ToriTheStoryteller · 05/11/2024 18:27

We will go to a Christmas Market, not sure where yet, and probably also to a local garden that has a lights trail set up and always looks really beautiful.

maydaymayday1 · 05/11/2024 18:29

Love the good stalls

Maiyakat · 05/11/2024 18:29

The ice slide, I'll leave the ice skating to DD! Then donuts and hot chocolate

Apfelkuchen · 05/11/2024 19:17

Chatsworth House in the Peak District is magical, with hot chocolates and mulled wine.

Needingsomeguidance · 05/11/2024 19:24

Yorkshire's Winter Wonderland for the ice skating & stalls:)

DiamondGoldandSilver · 05/11/2024 19:49

We love an ince skating rink combined with a winter wonderland and twinkling lights are a must!

SisterAgatha · 05/11/2024 19:51

I liked the salmon smokehouse that was there the first year it was on. I doubt its the sort of thing that is still there now.

feejee · 05/11/2024 23:02

I've only been once and enjoyed watching the Ntucracker on ice there. We're taking our son at the end of the month, he is going to love it.

oddbox · 06/11/2024 09:51

I'm looking forward to a hot chocolate and some yummy food! It's all about feeling wintery for me - big coat, hats and scarves!

Fancyquickthinker · 06/11/2024 10:03

I would really look forward to the big wheel - slow and steady and great for the best view of the park.

Stressheadmumma · 06/11/2024 10:59

Love the Xmas markets and the smell of mulled wine wafting around followed by the ice bar and ice skating!
