For the majority of us, the internet is an integral part of our everyday lives...where would be without Google?! With so many new terms, slang words, trends popping up all the time and with each generation, it can be difficult to stay on top of it all. Put your knowledge to the test and take the fun (and educational) quiz here that O2 NSPCC created to find out who knows more about the online world in your home.

7/8 I guessed the PAW thing. Glad I did this survey as I have learnt that, I will do a bit more research now into other ‘codes’ like that so I am more aware.

Absolute bollocks as I don't need to know who got eleventy billion likes in order to talk with my dc.

'Absolute bollocks' - pretty much all you can expect from the NSPCC these days when it comes to safeguarding children.

4/8 but some of the questions aren’t necessarily about internet safety. Why do the YouTube viewing figures come into it when talking to children about how to stay safe online?

  1. I had no idea what salty meant, catchphrases of vloggers, or many of the others. I'm not sure the quiz is a marker of how well you can keep your children safe online though.

Wow - i got 7/8. I was not expecting to be so knowledgable. I'll admit I guessed most. The one I got wrong was the youtubers name. Never heard of her! (But I bet my kids have)
