NOW CLOSED

With a chill in the air and sunny days few and far between, it’s the perfect time of year to snuggle up inside and watch TV with the family. Disney Junior would like to know what TV programmes you watch with your children and which characters you used to love from your childhood favourites.

Here’s what Disney Junior has to say: “Disney Junior invites kids into a magical world of fun & imagination. Your little ones can join in the adventure with their favourite friends Vampirina, The Lion Guard, PJ Masks, Mickey & The Roadster Racers and Muppet Babies every weekday from 3pm.”

So, is your family a fan of funny animated shows? Perhaps adventure programmes keep everyone entertained? Do you like seeing characters that you loved as a child reimagined for your children?

Please share your favourite family TV programmes below and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks

My little one is only tiny but we've been watching muppet babies for the nostalgia - it's me watching much more than him to be honest Grin
Once he's old enough to properly watch I'll probably be encouraging him not to - a little in moderation of course. But I'll probably favour those I'm familiar with from my own childhood.

we love to watch Sofia the First and Vamperina - my little boy is so happy when watching these, and it just goes to show that they aren't "just for girls"

My children are, rather disappointingly, massively into Horrid Henry at the moment.

I have three girls under 5 and of course love peppa pig and paw patrol. We enjoy watching CBeebies also which I find can be quite educational for them.

My DS doesn't watch much TV but even at the age of 7 he likes to watch Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig and most things on CBeebies. He also likes Ninjago and TMNT but I can't stand those. I'd rather watch CBeebies!

finleypop · 26/02/2019 12:14

My son has always preferred documentary/scientific programmes like myth busters or how do they do that, this is from 3 years old.

moosexxx · 26/02/2019 12:16

When our children were younger we watched a lot of Ben & Holly, Wallace and Gromit, Danger Mouse (both new and old) and Pingu.
TBH i enjoyed them all!

We watch a lot of Cbeebies as I don't like adverts but we do sometimes watch documentaries about trains. My favourite Cbeebies programmes are gigglebiz, jamilla and Maddie's how does it work programme - I've been quite interested to see inside the factories for example!

janeyf1 · 26/02/2019 12:58

Disney & family films always go down well. I even like watching programmes that used to be on when I was growing up, it brings back such happy families such as Sesame Street and The Pink Panther show

Teresa11 · 26/02/2019 13:03

Octonauts and Tinpo

southernsun · 26/02/2019 13:04

Have to admit to enjoying some of the childrens tv, was never a fan of Pokemon when I was little but through watching it with our sons I am now an expert! We love watching Lego Masters and GBBO together as a family and our eldest son really enjoyed watching the Back in time for school 1990s episode to see what school was like when mummy and daddy were at school.

Emmax12 · 26/02/2019 13:06

My favourite thing to watch with my daughter is ‘My First’. It’s about kids doing things for the first time eg swimming and it really helps her embrace new things

CrabsticksComp · 26/02/2019 13:27

Star Trek

devito92 · 26/02/2019 13:43

Paw Patrol is our family fav

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 26/02/2019 13:53

My kids mostly like animations. Pj masks and strawberry shortcake are acceptable to both the ten and four year old. It can be hard to get something appropriate for both when choosing a film but there are lots of good TV shows these days. They also love trolls and beatbugs and I will happily watch these too!
