NOW CLOSED

With a chill in the air and sunny days few and far between, it’s the perfect time of year to snuggle up inside and watch TV with the family. Disney Junior would like to know what TV programmes you watch with your children and which characters you used to love from your childhood favourites.

Here’s what Disney Junior has to say: “Disney Junior invites kids into a magical world of fun & imagination. Your little ones can join in the adventure with their favourite friends Vampirina, The Lion Guard, PJ Masks, Mickey & The Roadster Racers and Muppet Babies every weekday from 3pm.”

So, is your family a fan of funny animated shows? Perhaps adventure programmes keep everyone entertained? Do you like seeing characters that you loved as a child reimagined for your children?

Please share your favourite family TV programmes below and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list).

Thanks

My chhildren are grown up now, but I enjoy watching Peppa Pig with my granddaughter

bananasinpyjamas18 · 27/02/2019 20:51

My daughter loves Our Family on Cbeebies. She also adores Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers & Vampirina.
I loved Brum, Pingu and Bananas in Pyjamas. Most reimagined old favourites are disapointing tho.

My oldest DD 8 loves to watch Horrible Histories on CBBC.
My younger DD 6 enjoys watching Barbie and the Dream house on YouTube. It's quite entertaining 😂

Totally love Dancing on Ice here, something for everyone (when it is on obviously).

Catmadroo · 27/02/2019 22:37

My son and I love to watch How to train your dragons series together, he also likes Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. I use to like Swap Shop, Wombles and Rooburb and Custard when I was a child

Treaclespongeandcustard · 27/02/2019 22:50

Mine like Trolls, sing and horrid Henry. They also like Disney films but we watch less of these as they aren’t on Netflix

hibbertheather · 28/02/2019 00:20

To be honest my 7 year old is not overly interested in TV. He prefers to watch content on YouTube (mostly Minecraft related tutorials tbh). He has enjoyed the Julia Donaldson adaptations they've had on BBC1 the last few Christmases - ie Zog, Stickman, Gruffalo etc - and will watch the odd cartoon. He's not interested in "real" shows with actors lol

Caillou · 28/02/2019 09:53

Right now, dd3 is into paw patrol, dd7 into horrible histories and ds1 teletubbies

mollymoo818 · 28/02/2019 10:18

We are big Disney fans, put on any classic Disney movie and we are happy. I am glad that my 2 are now too old for peppa Pig as it used to drive me crazy having to watch it on repeat all day long. We do all enjoy Scooby Doo at the minute.

queenoftheschoolrun · 28/02/2019 11:04

DD is 10 and doesn't really watch much TV, however she loves the animated Mr Bean cartoons and has introduced all her friends to them too! We also watch The Voice and Strictly together as a family.

My 4yr old Daughter AND my Husband both love to Watch Moana!! She likes to watch programmes on Netflix like True, Horrid Henry and Masha and the Bear. My middle Son (aged 8) watches Minecraft, Power Rangers and people playing games on YouTube! My eldest Son (12) rarely watches TV, he likes his Playstation too much, although he does sometimes sit and Watch Coronation Street with us! Every Friday we have 'Friday Night Film Night', the kids look forward to it all week. We buy a few goodies and watch a film. we have recently watched the David Walliams adaptations... Ratburger, Mr Stink and Billionaire Boy. I personally love Trolls !!!
