Finding out tips and tricks for doing the laundry can make it all a bit easier - but how much do you actually know about the dos and don’ts of laundry? Take our quiz to find out.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “After decades of listening to scientists, parents, shoppers and children we think of ourselves as the laundry experts for families. But there is always more to learn! Share your dos, don’t and tricks of the trade with us so we can make sure our products are made for you!”

However much you think you know about laundry, take our quiz to find out how well your knowledge stands up to the test and share how you did on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

50%. No surprise as I don’t care about washing, everything gets thrown in together and survives quite happily.

75% not too bad.

MrsPMT · 28/03/2018 14:24

75% didn't recognise any of the dry-cleaning symbols, I have very few 'fancy' clothes that need such care.

doggyg · 28/03/2018 14:40

75% guessed some answers too

I'm amazed all of my washing comes out intact now!

SleeplessMomma · 28/03/2018 16:07

62% - not bad but a good excuse to hand over the mantle of being responsible for the laundry to someone else!

SusanWalker · 28/03/2018 16:15

50%. But I don't really own anything silk or dry clean only. And I wouldn't know the symbol for don't bleach as it's common sense not to bleach anything unless it's white. Although my mum said not even to do that very often as it is bad for the fabric.

4yoniD · 28/03/2018 16:27

62%,always machine wash my suit trousers, would like evidence of non bio being more gentle...
