I'm as hard as nails 99% of the time, but somehow when I hear children singing their little hearts out in assembly, I seem to go to pieces. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling how lovely they sound.

I get pretty upset over your new fragrance causing my dd's eczema to flare up.

I've never been one to show my emotions in public, to the extent that I don't even like holding hands with my husband whilst out and about.

However my little boy is almost 1 and has just started nursery. I've been looking forward to a break, to get a pedicure or to watch greys anatomy in peace! My friends said I'm like a rock over coffee and they all were heartbroken at the thought of being away from their DC's. However DS cried when I left him on the second day and I just felt so sad tears rolled down my face.

It was the first time I realised it's okay to not be okay and to show you're not okay. I needed to allow myself to react however I needed to to get the support I needed there.

I feel more comfortable now with showing my emotions to others and know that under all my front I am a big softy.

The moment I realised that the yougest child's head was wet- he was sitting on my knee while we watched dd1 being a shepherd in the nativity play, i was weeping so much his hair was wet!

Ah there's loads, I'm a complete softy! Most recently this morning, waking up in my small double bed with husband, five year old, 10 month old and cat - LOVE waking to their lovely faces, although I do think we could do with a bigger bed!

At the weekend I did a 20 mile round trip to collect DDs soft toy she'd left at a relatives house as she really wanted it. I realised on the way home how ridiculous it was and it could've waited, but she was so happy to have it back, I was glad I did it :)

My youngest son was really horrible to me when I picked him up from after school club once. After a meal, a bath and a promise of a story he hid away in his room and made me a card with 'I'm so sory. You the best mum' on a card. I still have it as I thought it was so sweet.

I also cry when they sing. Cry when they try hard. Cry when they tell me they love me. Cry when they say that I'm pretty. (Yesterday I was told "you don't need to put your make up on Mummy, you're already pretty.")

Since having my dd, now 13, I realised that I cry much more easily, both at sad things but also when people do really nice things for others ( like the recent mn thread )

I weep at one born every minute. I weep at 'this is us' tv programme. I've always thought of myself as a tough cookie- until I had kids.. now I cry when I'm tired, and when I miss the kids. I cry when they do something kind!
But my favourite moment of all is just before I put my baby to bed, and I rub my mouth across her head, blowing warm air into her hair. She does this adorable gurgle. And it's my little ritual before putting her to bed. It's also the most perfect smell in the world, too.

When my pupil had done nothing, no work, nada, zip for a very important project - part of her final assessment - and I moved her into my home office for a couple of days and nagged and cajoled her as her parents weren't and she was struggling and teary.

Oh I'm the biggest softie in the world :P when we introduced my son to our new puppy for the first time ever and he beamed and laughed in delight, I couldn't stop my eyes tearing up. I get emotional every time they play in the garden or lie together on a beanbag watching TV like best buds! So cute and innocent :) xxx

I'm already a big softy but since having DC I cry at everything on TV. My most memorable teary moment was when my son read out a poem at school assembly, I was just so proud hearing his sweet little voice.

My "baby" brother (age 27) came to visit at the weekend and played me the song he and his fiancee have chosen for their first dance at their wedding this summer. Even through tinny iPhone speakers, standing in my messy kitchen in my pyjamas, it was so beautiful to hear their love for eachother reflected in the lyrics of the song that it made me cry with happiness for him!

I went for a job as a vets receptionist and was sat in waiting room when a man bought in his dog which had been hurt. Looked into those big puppy eyes and burst into tears.. needless to say I didn't stay for interview

Reading children's book to them. Was in floods of tears at the end of Winnie the Pooh, but even picture books can make me well up too. All those "can't you sleep little bear". I had a lovely edition of the little prince but I knew there was no way I could get through it. - so I got my husband to read that one to them....and it made him cry too.

I took my then 5 or 6 year old son for his weekend walk and it was a lovely sunny day so I let him play in a small very shallow stream whilst I sat on the edge enjoying the shade of the trees. It was at the back of a farmers field so we were unlikely to be joined by anyone. The sound of my son splashing and laughing and the birds singing was just perfect.

When we got home my son drew me a picture with me and him as stick people, a big sun in the sky and helicopters flying around (there were none but it was his latest obsession and he'd just learned how to draw basic ones!!) He'd written the words in his childish scrawl "me and mum walking through the fields happy days." My heart nearly burst and I took the picture to work and laminated it. It's one of most treasured possessions.

The Old Jack Sailor Sue episode. The bit where Bernard Cribbins tears up at the thought of his lost love. My god, I wasn't just sniffling I was sobbing big fat ugly tears.

My little girl was looking at me like I was crazy.

Actually I'm tearing up now thinking of it! Totally soft!

There are too many to list, I cry at adverts on tv and have a face that certainly isn't useful for poker.... but I really realised I was a pushover when my daughter was born, that smile gets her away with murder..
