Tricolor every time! Mozerella, avocado and tomato. Add in some ciabatta with oil and vinegar. A classic!

I love anything with aubergine as I'm vegetarian and Italian food has so many delicious dishes with them in.

caprese salad with loads of bread amd olive oíl

I adore Italian food and my favourite Summer dish is Rigatoni, with a chunky roasted vegetable sauce, with lots of basil and garlic and a grating of Friulano cheese on top. Add to that a rocket and green olive salad and a glass of Chianti. Heaven!

Mmm, I love Italian food! In the warmer weather I like a caprese salad with some bruschetta, simple and flavourful.

Pizza with salad, basically the same as my favourite winter dish (with salad added)

I absolutely love antpasti (olives, tomatoes nice breads, cheeses, parma ham....) washed down with a bottle of rose in the sunshine!

Years ago I found an Italian recipe book in a bargain bin for £1 and it's been my best friend ever since! I love to make gorgonzola bread, I knead the cheese into the dough to bake and it's delicious! I also love lemon and spinach risotto, and making my own pizzas. They are so much tastier than shop bought

This thread is making me hungry. Luckily it's pasta for dinner tonight! Anyway my favourite summer dish is insalata tricolore, I could eat tons.

Linguine with shredded chicken, garlic, chilli, lemon juice, fresh basil and Parmesan - yum!

I am vegetarian so anything with lots of fresh veggies and cheese suits me, especially pasta with fresh tomatoes, basil, aubergine and pesto mmmm!

All year round it's Carbonara for this family

I love prawn, rocket, tomato and chilli linguine. Must eat more of it now LO is here and I'm not avoiding seafood anymore!

I love cured meats and olives. We go out as a family with our little one and she loves sharing platters with us. We dip bread in olive oil, and have nibbles of each thing.

Oh, and puttanesca!

A generous antipasti platter for sharing along with freshly baked bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar.

Love all Italian bit especially spinach and ricotta cannelloni

it would have to be swordfish with a side salad of beautifully ripe tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and olives. yum. We have just been to Sicily and have had some of the best swordfish we have ever tasted over there.

A simple roasted tomato and garlic sauce with spaghetti. Yum!

A really good quality pizza, and a salad of baby leaves, peashoots and lambs lettuce, grilled peppers and torn mozzerella.
And affogato with proper gelato and a shot of something alcoholic added to the espresso

Immediately taken back to sitting outside a restaurant in Rome in the evening sharing pizzas. My favourite being a very thin Margherita style one with big circles of buffalo mozzarella and garnished with peppery basil. This had to be followed by chocolate gelato - nobody does it better than the Italians.

Oh I love gamberoni the way bella Italia used to do it years ago.

Prawns, tomatoes, Chilli served in these little earthenware pots and with ciabatta bread and oil.

We love to go to Bella. We often have breakfast there, ans for dinner we love Calzone. Going to try something different this week though after reading others suggestions !

Love everything Italian but my trusted favourite is Salmon tagliatelle even though this is normally served hot it can be eaten at room temp too especially with salad and added Parmesan

I love courgette pesto salad :) and buffalo mozzarella tomato salads

for dessert, classic gelato with fruit is a perfect crowd pleaser!

Love a creamy carbonara, and now raw eggs have been declared safe again for small children etc looking forward to introducing my daughter to the delights of this dish soon. She already loves pasta so I'm sure this will be a fantastic addition to the regular repitoré again.
