Workfest 2016 is almost upon us (14 May), and in light of this we'd like you to share your career conundrums.

This one-day event is packed to the rafters with advice for women in - or returning to - the workplace, with a range of workshops and one-on-one sessions hosted by self-made entrepreneurs and career experts. It could be just what you need to kick-start your career, as attested to by these Mumsnetters from last year:

"I felt truly inspired and motivated...I have 'the fire in my belly' to move forward and reach my goals."

"The day was much more than I had hoped. I was and still am in awe of the speakers and gained so much positive energy."

"One of the best value conferences I have been to in a long time."

So perhaps you're struggling to kick-start your career post-kids? Or maybe you have a stellar business idea, but are lacking the practical advise needed to make it a reality? You might be in a rut, and are looking for ways to climb in your current profession. Whatever your dilemma, we'd love to hear about it, and would love even more to see you at Workfest 2016!

Add your comments to this thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one winner will win their choice of a £50 store voucher or a pair of Workfest 2016 tickets Grin.

thanks, MNHQ

I work from home so I can get some household chores done during the working day, but I always feel guilty! When I'm working I'm thinking about the kitchen that needs cleaning, when I take time off to tidy up I'm thinking of all the work I need to get done! I can't win!

I need to make peace with the nagging guilt of not being there or every little thing. I know I am more fulfilled when working, but feel guilty for that - like the DCs should be fulfilling enough for me not to work. The truth is I equate my sense of self with work probably too much, but it does make me very hardworking. A conundrum!

I was all ready to go back to work when my son started school but my mum had a very long hospital stay and the result means she needs lots of care- so hense I didn't get to go back to paid work but instead I have 2 jobs Mum and full-time carer. I would love to go back to work but no chance as it is

I'm currently a SAHM, but worked full-time when my eldest was little. I hated missing out on nursery events such as sports days or nativities. I made what I could, but unfortunately there were some I had to miss.

Worrying about not getting to spend enough time with my daughter when she goes back. I do not want her being raised by a bunch of strangers and not me!

Over 55. So no work and plenty of woe
